JEECUP Syllabus

JEECUP 2016JEECUP 2016 is the preferred entrance test organized by the Uttar Pradesh Board of Technical Education (UPBTE). JEECUP is the state level examination taken by the aspirants every year for admission in the government and private polytechnic colleges. The most popular name of JEECUP (Joint Entrance Examination Council Uttar Pradesh) is UP Polytechnic. In this article, we will provide you all the information that familiarizes the candidates with JEECUP Syllabus so that the aspirants can prepare them accordingly.

JEECUP Exam Pattern

The question paper of JEECUP entrance examination will consists of total 120 questions, out of which 60 questions will be asked from mathematics, 30 questions from physics and the rest of the 30 questions from chemistry. The type of the examination is objective type so for every question, the candidates have to darken the one appropriate circle.

The candidates want to participate in JEECUP 2016 examination are advised to focus on the mathematics, physics and chemistry section. The examination authority will prepare the question paper from the basics of 10th and 12th of UP board.

JEECUP Syllabus

The examination of JEECUP 2016 comes from the physics, chemistry and mathematics subjects. The JEECUP examination syllabus is same as the UP board syllabus of class 10th and 12. The candidates can refer their books of 10th and 12th class for the preparation of JEECUP 2016. The candidates must have the knowledge of the basic concepts of PCM; he/she will have studied in high school or in intermediate. For better preparation, aspiring candidates can also refer previous JEECUP question paper or model paper. As it is already mentioned under the examination pattern that most of the questions will come from the mathematics section, so students are suggested to prepare that section thoroughly.

The syllabus of JEECUP is categorized group-wise. The detailed syllabus for every group is mentioned below:

Group ‘A’ syllabus:

The syllabus of group A consists of the 10th class syllabus of UP board that includes physics, chemistry and mathematics subjects.

Group ‘B’ syllabus:

This comprises the syllabus in 2 sections, one section is mathematics and other section includes physics or chemistry or agriculture.

Group ‘C’ syllabus:

It includes the 10 class syllabus. Also, the group C syllabus will consist of three sections; Hindi and English comprehension, reasoning and intelligence & general awareness.

Group ‘D’ syllabus:

Group D syllabus will consist of 12th class syllabus and includes four sections, namely Hindi and English comprehension, reasoning and intelligence, numerical ability and general awareness.

Group ‘E’ syllabus:

Syllabus of group E is based on 10+2 academics and will consist of 2 sections that include physics and chemistry, biology or mathematics.

Group ‘F’ syllabus:

The candidates applying for group F are informed that the syllabus will consists of B.Sc academics. The section includes physics, biology and botany.

Group ‘G’ syllabus:

The syllabus of this group will almost remain same like graduate academics that include the 5 sections named as English comprehension, numerical ability, reasoning, general intelligence and general awareness.

Group ‘H’ syllabus:

The candidates who appear for group H are informed that the syllabus for the same is divided into 4 sections, namely reasoning and logical discussion, numerical ability and scientific aptitude, English and general knowledge. Besides this, it also includes the syllabus of intermediate class.

Group ‘I’ syllabus:

This includes the 10+2 syllabus of UP board. The syllabus is divided into 2 parts, i.e. physics and chemistry, mathematics.

Group ‘J’ syllabus:

It will consist of the diploma syllabus and includes five sections, namely English comprehension, numerical ability, reasoning, general intelligence and general awareness.

Group ‘k’ syllabus:

All the interested candidates are informed that the syllabus for this group will include the basics of 10th and 12th of UP board. The syllabus is divided into two parts: first part will cover physics, chemistry and mathematics while second section consists of engineering.
