Uttar Pradesh Board of Technical Education (UPBTE) is going to organize the JEECUP 2016. JEECUP (Joint Entrance Examination Council Uttar Pradesh) is a state level entrance exam that is generally called as UP Polytechnic examination. Those candidates who are interested to do polytechnic in various fields such as engineering, medical and other technical field in UP they can apply for the JEECUP. It is the one of the most famous entrance examination in Uttar Pradesh. Every year, lots of candidates will appear in the entrance exam. Reservation and Categories
On the premises of the merit list that will be prepared according to the marks scored by the candidates in the JEECUP 2016. The colleges/institutions have reserved few seats for those candidates who belong to the different categories (SC/ST, OBC, PWD). Here, we give the detail about the seat reservation.

JEECUP Seats allotments
After the JEECUP entrance exam, the result will be announced and then candidates will seek forward to get their JEECUP Seat Allotment 2016. The JEECUP counselling procedure 2016 has been divided in five steps that are registration, e-Challan, document verification, selection of colleges and courses and lock choice. The top rank holders will get an opportunity in top colleges against the choice marked by them. The counselling procedure will begin in the month of June 2016 (tentative). The counselling process will be based on the rank list.
The seat allotments provided by the colleges on the basis of the polytechnic courses that are majorly divided in 11 sections such as Group A to Group K. While Group A to Group J will facilitate admissions to government and government-aided colleges and Universities, Group K will give admissions to the private institutions in the UP who accept JEECUP score as admission criteria. Approx. 2 lakh seats are available for polytechnic programmes including all government and private institutions in the state.
