JEECUP (Joint Entrance Examination Council Uttar Pradesh) is conducted by Uttar Pradesh Board of Technical Education (UPBTE). It is a state level entrance examination. JEECUP is the most popular exam in Uttar Pradesh for the candidates who are interested in polytechnic courses offered by the government and private polytechnic colleges of Uttar Pradesh. Joint Entrance Examination Council Uttar Pradesh (JEECUP 2016) is also known as UP Polytechnic examination. After passing this exam, candidates can take admission in polytechnic colleges of UP state in the stream chosen by them.
JEECUP 2016 Exam date has announced by the council and will be scheduled on 1st May, 2016.

JEECUP exam will be conducted in 1 May, 2016. Candidates who are interested in various polytechnic courses like mechanical, computer science, information technology, computer application and hotel management can apply for JEECUP 2016.

Candidates who will appear in UP Polytechnic entrance exam (JEECUP) will have to study these subjects carefully Maths, Physics and Chemistry as their exam will consist of questions from these three subjects only. There will be multiple choice questions as follows-

In UP Polytechnic Examination (JEECUP) 2016 there will be total 120 questions 60 questions from Maths, 30 from Chemistry and 30 from Physics. The questions will be of class 10th level.
Candidates will be given OMR sheet in which they have to darken the correct answer from HB pencil. There will be four options of every question the answer you will find correct will be darkened and if there is no correct answer you can circle the empty box given in the OMR sheet. Candidates should note that all the rough work should be done in the question paper or a separate sheet will be provided for rough work. Candidates will not have to do the rough work in the OMR sheet as by doing the rough work in OMR sheet the sheet will not be checked by the computer.
JEECUP examination is held for the candidates who are interested in polytechnic courses. The exam is held for those candidates who are the residents of Uttar Pradesh and are having the domicile certificate. Questions will be of objective type. For every correct answer four marks will be given and for every wrong answer one mark will be deducted.
